Help bring supplies to those in need!

Have you ever considered how many kilometres are traveled by Timotheos staff in Malawi to keep our organization running? The closest child-care centre is a half-hour drive from the head office; the other locations are one to three hours away.

Why is your support important?

Visiting and supplying the centres has become considerably more expensive due to persistent inflation. Fuel costs rose again by 40% in January. Your contribution makes it possible to continue visiting the centres. Below are examples of these visits:

  • Every two weeks, colleagues from education, care, and evangelism check whether (Biblical) education and daily care is running smoothly. They discuss concerns about children and other issues with the management or observe lessons.

  • Every eight weeks, logistics colleagues deliver (non-perishable) food supplies and other necessities.

  • There are extra trips to deliver materials that are purchased centrally in the city. These include (Sunday) school materials, kitchen and garden supplies, first aid supplies, and fabric for school uniforms.

What does it cost per month?

For 2026, below are the monthly budgeted costs for visiting and supplying the centres:

Fuel for motor vehicles:
$17,215.84

Repairs and maintenance of motor vehicles:
$4,990.37

Repairs and maintenance of motorcycles:
$600.50

Total budget per month:
$22,206.21
